Inspired by two Brahminy kites nesting near the site, the house sits above Wategos Beach, next to the lighthouse. It acts as a portal for both the ocean to the north and the native heath behind. A palette of spotted gum hardwood and terracotta tones envelop occupants in the coastal environment.

The heath hugs the back sanctuary with pools, wellness and gathering spaces.
